Going to Boracay in January is always different. This is because the Ati-Atihan Festival which is celebrated annually in Kalibo will go on from early January until the third weekend of the same month. It’s a colourful celebration where dancers and performers in striking colours and costumes marching along the road of Kalibo. Basically, Kalibo is where the jetty to sail off to Boracay is.
